What we collect

You need an account to play a ranked run. You sign in with Discord or Google, and from whichever you choose we receive an account identifier, your email address, your display name and your profile picture. Your password stays with them and never reaches us.

After that we store what the competition needs: the nickname you pick, your own profile picture if you upload one, the country you represent, the cosmetics you have equipped, and your runs, scores, placements and trophies. Our host, Vercel, processes your IP address to serve the site and to rate-limit abuse of the scoring endpoints. We do not store it in the game database and we do not use it to profile you.

No ads, no analytics, no tracking

There is no advertising on Nation Clash, no analytics product, no session recording and no tracking pixels. That is not only a promise: the site sends a Content-Security-Policy that permits scripts from our own domain only, so a third-party tracker cannot run here even if one were added by mistake. We do not sell your data and we never share it for advertising. Because we set no advertising or analytics cookies, there is no consent banner to click through.

What sits in your browser

Your light or dark theme choice, which account signed in last, whether to show administrator links, the fact that you dismissed the tip on the play desk, and a run you played before signing in so you can claim it afterwards. Your sign-in token lives there too, so you are not asked to sign in on every page. None of it is used for advertising or measurement, and clearing your browser data removes all of it.

What other players see

Your country, scores and placement, trophies and crests, and your Arena record are public because they form the competition. Your nickname and profile picture are private by default. During setup you choose separately whether either one may be public, and you can change either choice later from your profile. When your public-name setting is off, your nickname is replaced with ANONYMOUS PLAYER in the database before a public response is built, so your private nickname is not sent to another player's browser.

Who else handles it

Supabase stores accounts, gameplay data and uploaded images, in its eu-west-3 (Paris) region. Vercel hosts the site and runs the rate limits. Discord and Google provide sign-in - they tell us who you are, and we tell them nothing about how you play. Each processes data under its own privacy policy. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, those transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Why we use your data

We use account and gameplay data to provide the game and your profile, which is necessary to perform our agreement with you. We use security, rate-limit and run-verification data for our legitimate interests in protecting Nation Clash, preventing abuse and keeping the competition fair. We display an uploaded picture and your chosen public name only when you choose those options; you can withdraw that choice from your profile.

Your data, and your rights

Nation Clash is operated as a non-commercial public beta by MORUTAN MARIUS VLAD, an individual based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. That individual is the controller of your personal data under the GDPR. For privacy questions and requests, email hello@nationclash.gg.

Depending on your situation, you can ask for access to or a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability; object to processing based on legitimate interests; or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email us and we will respond without undue delay and normally within one month. We may ask for enough information to verify that the request relates to your account. Your nickname, public-name setting and picture you can change yourself at any time from your profile. You can permanently delete the account from Profile → Settings; the same signed-in session removes both the game profile and the linked sign-in account. If that control fails, email us and we will complete the request. If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to your national data protection authority - in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

We keep your account while it is active and until you delete it or ask us to delete it. Deleting removes your profile, nickname, picture, crests, cosmetics and play history. Scores stay as part of the season record, but are detached from your account when it goes, so a past season still adds up without the result being linked to you. Content used to verify an ordinary run and its verification payload are automatically deleted or anonymised after 90 days. A score temporarily held for an unresolved fair-play review is kept until that review is completed, then enters the same 90-day deletion cycle.

Automated checks

Automated checks may flag or temporarily hold an unusual score for review. They do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. You can ask us to review a score or account decision by emailing us.

Children

Nation Clash is a general-audience game and is not aimed at children. An account requires you to confirm that you are at least 16 years old. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will review and remove it.

Changes

We update this page when what we collect changes, and the date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects your rights we will say so on the site rather than relying on you re-reading this page.
