Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. These terms

These terms are the agreement between you and MORUTAN MARIUS VLAD, an individual based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands (“Nation Clash”, “we”, “us”), covering the nationclash.gg website and everything we offer through it. By creating an account or playing a run, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not create an account or use the game.

Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law. Where these terms and those rights disagree, those rights win.

2. What Nation Clash is

Nation Clash is a browser game where players represent a country. You play short skill games - timing, reaction, typing, arithmetic, precision and memory - and your results count toward your nation's placement across a season. Some parts are marked as closed, in testing, or admin-only, and those can change or disappear without notice. The game is currently a free, non-commercial public beta. There is no advertising. We do not offer paid products, subscriptions, purchasable virtual currency, cash prizes or items redeemable for money. The Market may be closed or limited during the beta.

Any test credits, cosmetics or other virtual items are part of the game only. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or redeemed, and may be changed or reset while the game is in beta.

3. Who can play

You must be at least 16 to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Nation Clash with a parent or guardian's involvement. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger than 16, we will remove it.

4. Your account

A ranked run requires an account. Sign-in goes through Discord or Google, so we never see or hold your password - keeping those accounts secure is down to you and to them. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

One account per person. Extra accounts used to farm placements, inflate a nation's field, or evade a suspension will be removed. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings, or ask us by emailing hello@nationclash.gg; scores already counted toward a season may remain in that season's record, detached from you.

5. Fair play

Nation Clash is a competition, and a leaderboard is only worth something if the results on it are real. Scores are verified on our servers: the game reports what you did, and the server works out what it was worth. So, concretely - do not:

Where we have good reason to believe a result did not come from honest play, we may void that result, remove it from the leaderboard, recalculate the affected placements, and suspend or close the account. We would rather explain a decision than hide it, so tell us if you think we got one wrong.

6. What you make public

Your chosen country, scores, placements, trophies and crests appear publicly on leaderboards and player cards. Your nickname and profile picture start private. You choose separately whether either may be shown publicly and can turn either choice off later. When you enable one, you allow us to show it as part of Nation Clash, including on shared result images. Do not enter anything you would not want shown if you make it public.

7. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Nation Clash without owing you payment. We are not asking you to give up authorship of anything you have made - this covers suggestions about the game, not work you send us for some other purpose.

8. Ownership

The game, its code, artwork, sound, copy and branding belong to us. You get a personal, non-commercial, revocable licence to play it in a normal web browser. Screenshots, recordings, streams and posts about your own play are welcome and encouraged. Rehosting the game, mirroring it, embedding it at scale, or building a commercial product around it needs our written permission first.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Nation Clash infringes your copyright, email hello@nationclash.gg with enough detail to identify the work and to find the material on our site, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised and that your notice is accurate. We will look at it and remove material we believe in good faith to be infringing.

10. Services we rely on

Supabase provides the database, sign-in and file storage; Vercel provides hosting and the rate limiting that protects the scoring endpoints; Discord and Google provide sign-in. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or their conduct. We do not use advertising or analytics providers.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do about it. It is part of your agreement with us.

12. Availability

We try to keep Nation Clash running, but we do not promise any particular uptime and we may change, pause or stop parts of it. Seasons, scores, rankings and account data can be affected by outages, bugs or corrections, and we may recalculate a season where something has gone wrong with it. We are not responsible for failures caused by things genuinely outside our control, such as an upstream provider going down.

13. Responsibility

Nation Clash is a free game, provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a score, streak or ranking will always be preserved exactly.

We are liable to you for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and for anything else the law does not let us exclude. Beyond that, and to the extent Dutch law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss - for example lost data, lost time, or lost progress in a season. Because the game is free, nothing here is limited by reference to what you have paid us.

14. Suspension and ending your use

You can stop playing whenever you like, and delete your account as described above. We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken - most often, section 5 - or where we discontinue the game. Sections on ownership, feedback, responsibility and governing law continue to apply afterwards.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the current version. If a change matters to you, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect, through the site or by email where we have your address. Continuing to play after that means you accept the change; if you do not, stop playing and delete your account.

16. Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in the courts there. Otherwise, disputes may be brought before the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.

We would much rather sort a problem out by email first - write to hello@nationclash.gg.

17. Everything else

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Nation Clash. If part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not mean we give up the right to enforce it later. You cannot transfer this agreement to someone else; we may transfer it if the project changes hands. The English version controls if these terms are ever translated.

18. Contact
